What’s the deal with people who pull right up to the door of the mini-mart? (I guess they’re taking the concept of “drive-in” literally.) Maybe it’s me, but it seems that most of them are driving SUVs or some other vehicle about the size of a tractor. I thought the idea of these vehicles was that you’re supposed to feel like you’re on a safari or a thrilling excursion of some sort – they’re supposed to make you feel adventurous and alive. So they can’t walk ten yards to the door of the convenience store?
The real reason, as we all know, is that they’re so much more in a hurry than the rest of us.
